As planners, we’re in the thick of it—from last-minute outfit fixes and florals being fluffed to the moment right before the music cues and everything begins. But it’s the photographers who freeze those split seconds in time. The ones who catch the in-betweens, the big emotions and the quiet stillness.

Over the last year, we’ve had the chance to work with some truly brilliant photography teams—some well-known, some less so—but all deeply committed to their craft. These are the people who showed up, adapted, caught what we missed, and (most importantly, for us) shared the images that let us relive the magic, long after the lights came down.

Over the last year, we’ve had the privilege of working with some incredibly talented photography teams, some well-known, some lesser-known, but all brilliant in their own ways. This isn’t a list of “top” photographers. It’s a list of teams who were kind, collaborative, quick to share content (a big one for couples!), and brought something special to every wedding they touched.

Sand Stone Films

Some teams walk into a wedding and blend right in. Sand Stone Films is one of them.

We first worked with them on Aditi & Rahul’s wedding—a setup that was anything but ordinary. Think repurposed heirloom sarees, origami birds, fabric elephants, and yes, a giant Christmas bow. It was personal, layered, and full of meaning. Sand Stone didn’t just document it—they got it. They understood the story we were trying to tell and captured it in a way that felt completely true to the couple.

First up was Prerna & Abhijeet’s three-day celebration in Bangalore. The event was gentle, local, and full of heart—and Shutterbug treated it with the same level of care and creativity they’d bring to a 500-person celebration.

And finally, Pooja & Arjun. This one was a long time coming—Shutterbug was booked nearly a year in advance. From the registered wedding in Mumbai to the haldi and mehendi and finally their destination wedding at Montrose Golf Resort & Spa, Coorg—they were there through it all. What stood out was how seamless it all felt. Every transition, every event, every shift in tone—they captured it like chapters in the same story.
